Before you agree
- Compare service details, completed work, written reviews and relevant qualifications. Rank and verification add context; neither guarantees quality or conduct.
- Clarify the scope, delivery requirements, dates, Service Fee and any materials. For in-person work, confirm access arrangements and who will attend. Review the written Offer before accepting it.
- Pause if details are inconsistent or someone pressures you to pay outside SeekProv, buy gift cards, use cryptocurrency or share card information.

During a service
- For in-person services, confirm the appointment and check that the person who arrives matches the Provider information you were given.
- Keep agreed changes and service-related communication in SeekProv Chat. Never share passwords, one-time codes or unnecessary personal or financial information.
- For an in-person appointment, tell someone you trust, keep your phone available and secure valuables or sensitive documents. Consider having another adult present where practical.

If something goes wrong
- Put personal safety first. Disengage and move to a safe place where possible, without confronting anyone.
- Keep relevant messages, Offer details, receipts and photos. Use Get Help on the relevant Deal for a service issue, and Report in Chat for suspicious or inappropriate conduct.
- If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. SeekProv is not an emergency-response service.
